Those experiences with my cello entail auditions for schools and orchestras, recitals, concerts, travels, care of the instrument, and my all important switch from a student instrument to a professional one in July 2008. It's the big events as well as the seemingly small one that might have big impacts just not noticeable right away.aaronsinnetthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09452114789632706701noreply@blogger.comBlogger5125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1732474870960350592.post-55391944970042217662011-10-09T11:28:00.000-04:002011-10-09T11:28:04.501-04:002011-10-09T11:28:04.501-04:00Traveling with a CelloEver since I can remember my cello has gone with me practically anytime I went on a trip. It was in the back of the van or in the trunk of the car or when I got my own car on the back seat. On longer trips that required airplane transportation it goes in with the checked luggage, quite unfortunately, just like my suitcase. The cello, in it's hard case, is just large enough to keep it out of the aaronsinnetthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09452114789632706701noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1732474870960350592.post-24814888391882050452011-10-07T16:45:00.000-04:002011-10-07T16:45:38.986-04:002011-10-07T16:45:38.986-04:00Youtube celloHey everybody. The instrument was fantastic. Yes, that is true. However, it was a change. We all know that change is welcomed on many occasions but at the same time can be a challenge to overcome too. I was used to a larger instrument, but that wasn't a big deal. The smaller bouts were greeted with pleasure since aaronsinnetthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09452114789632706701noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1732474870960350592.post-37553785251234071352011-10-04T16:33:00.000-04:002011-10-04T16:33:43.588-04:002011-10-04T16:33:43.588-04:00A new celloUpgrading my cello was a very important step in my career. I dreamt about it and imagined that I would be playing on an instrument that was easy to play and could sound any way that I wanted. I envisioned the octaves to be a snap and the loudest ff to be so easy I could relax while pulling the bow. My thoughts ran with the potential of a perfect cello that would be my practice, audition, and aaronsinnetthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09452114789632706701noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1732474870960350592.post-19792512778692144112011-10-02T11:58:00.000-04:002011-10-02T12:03:25.189-04:002011-10-02T12:03:25.189-04:00Revisiting My Cello StoryYes, it has been six years since I last wrote anything on this blog! It really was the summer of 2005 that I started it and then quickly forgot about it. I realized that it would be fun to continue the stories of me and my cello. A lot has happened since 2005 and I might even write about all of the major life changing events as well as the smaller ones that still had a lasting impact on me.
